"Cobrastyle"
performed by Teddybears STHLM featuring Mad Cobra
appearing on Soft Machine album - 2006
I love the song "Cobrastyle," don't you? Perhaps you heard it in/on "Grey's Anatomy," "Laguna Beach," "Las Vegas," "Entourage,"
Man of the Year with Robin Williams, Employee of the Month with Dane Cook, the FIFA '06 game, The Honeymooners
with Cedric the Entertainer, After the Sunset with Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek, The Benchwarmers
with David Spade, commercials for Heineken, advertisements for FOX's "Bones" and the Epic Movie trailer.
The sound is so bizarre, I didn't think it would please mainstream audiences. I didn't think anybody would
like it when I heard it about a year ago. I didn't even like it at first because I heard Teddybears' song "Hey
Boy" beforehand and I thought it couldn't be topped; it was too catchy. But Teddybears outdid themselves when they released
"Soft Machine" and the single for "Cobrastyle" with reggae sensation Mad Cobra on lead vocs. I really recommend downloading
the song, preferably legally, in the chance that a minimum of one cent actually goes to the group itself. If
you're a cheap fuck like me, just find it on Limewire and download with it "Hey Boy," "Teddybear Music" and "Little Stereo."
Great electronic pleasures to your ears, my friends.

A+ 10/10 100% catchy
The Hives, Barely Legal, 1997 (Epitath/Burning Heart) This is proably the least known of the Hives albums, which is strange, because it happens to be their debut.
At first listen, it is kind of hard to believe it is the radio-friendly Hives that we hear almost every day, but you
can see how their older sound is somewhat similar to their newer, more watered down sound. This album is somewhat
rough in quality, and unleashes a harder, more punk side of the Hives. I would suggest buying this album if you
are a fan of the Hives, and it is even worth checking out if you aren't too much of a fan, or don't know who I am talking
about. Rating: 8.96/10.00 Reviewer: Michael Montanez
